Smarter things smarter People
Electronics, firmware, software, data, and cloud, with a decade in the oilfield steering drill bits in between. I build industrial automation by day and AI agent tooling, music, and odd little things the rest of the time.

Curriculum vitae
Twenty-five years across web, industrial controls, oilfield drilling, and engineering leadership.
The original house is still open at the walkabout, and its directory has every room and item as ordinary HTML.
In short
I have been using computers since I watched my dad solder together a Zenith H89 CP/M machine when I was four. Wumpus was the catch of the day when it first powered up. My first program was a spreadsheet; then BASIC, then C and Pascal, and onward.
Since then I have worked on personal, commercial, and industrial systems from electronics to firmware, software, databases, and cloud services. I spent nearly ten years as an oilfield directional drilling hand. I read and write music, books, and code. Father of five, husband of one.
My true passion is to create, and to help others do what they were made to do.
